Google may be a synonym for search, but it’s not restricted to that feature alone. If you are not a tech-savvy person then chances are that you are unaware about majority of Google’s products and services.
Anyway, how many Google products and services do you use? The common answers will be Gmail, Google Drive, Google Maps, Google Chrome, YouTube, or an Android. But Google is well beyond that.
Over 3 billion Google Searches per day. Over 1 billion YouTube users. Over 1 billion Gmail users. Over 1 billion Chrome users. Over 1 billion Maps users. Over 1 billion Google Photos users. Over 2 billion Android users. Over 1 billion Google Play Store users. Over $1 trillion market capitalization. That’s the stats of Google.
First Published: September 26, 2016; Last Updated: Friday, February 19, 2021.Amazon ($AMZN) is the largest retailer on the web. I'm not an Amazon fanatic but I like to shop online (or on Amazon). And I believe Amazon will become a lot more bigger than what it is today. For me Amazon was all about online shopping and shopping only until a few years go, and then I came to know about its dominance in the cloud computing space. And I will be updating this article as they launch more products and services.
A content curator is someone who aggregates content from across the web. They're not the ones who copy stuff from the Internet and repost the same on social media, blogs, etc. Content curators are passionate about what they share and hence they “curate” content before sharing by adding more information and value to it.
Content Curation is different from Content Creation because curators don’t generate any significant content by themselves. Their primary goal is to find interesting stuff and then re-publish the same by adding their own views about the content.
If content marketing is all about creating and sharing your own content then content curation is all about finding, organizing, and sharing great content. Content curators aggregate interesting content from across the web about topics that they’re passionate about.
Today, Content Curation is as important as content marketing as it’s a great way to improve the user experience of your website and/or brand. Moreover, content marketing is not easy as creating high quality content is expensive and takes a lot of effort and time.
Why Content Curation Matters?
Content Curation is not something that can be automated because no computer algorithm can find exactly what your users want. So it’s your job to find interesting content what you think will be of interest to your readers.
Social media marketing is the process of gaining website traffic or attention through social networks. If you already have a strong SEO strategy then integrating social media with your existing campaigns will yield the best results.
