19 Fiverr Gig Ideas For Social Media Marketing
Today, I am featuring 15 Fiverr gig categories to supercharge your social media marketing campaigns. You can try the following Fiverr gigs to outsource some of the creative but time consuming tasks that are essential for your brand. Nevertheless, it makes your brand stand-out and looks complete on social media.
1. Logo / Profile Picture
If your business do not have a logo or you want something fresh then Fiverr is a great destination to hire a designer at affordable cost. And if you already have a logo then you should get it resized so as to match each social networks.
Tip: A square non-transparent logo (ideally 2048×2048 pixels) fits almost all the social networks out there. However, you may want to resize the same to 1080px x 1080px or lower depending upon the platform. For example, 400×400 pixels for Twitter; 320×320 pixels for Instagram, and so on.
2. Header / Header Animation
Apart from a logo (or a profile picture as they call it), most social networks also lets you add a header. And sometimes it can be animated too. YouTube calls the header “Channel Art”, Facebook calls the header “Cover Photo”, Twitter and Pinterest calls it just “Header”, and so on.
Unlike the profile picture, the recommended size of headers on each social network varies. For instance, the recommended size on Twitter is 1500×500 pixels on Twitter and for LinkedIn it’s 1584×396 pixels. So it’s a good idea to optimize the headers of all your social media platforms so that it looks best.
The social media headers (or banners) can be used to communicate a brand’s “wow” factor as it’s one of the first few things people notice when they land on your social media platform.
For instance, YouTube Channel Art can be used to convey your brand’s message, tagline, publishing schedule, website address, and more.
3. Social Media Profile Setup
Social Media Bio is basically your “About Me” equivalent on social media. However, even the most popular brands (or the ones with massive follower base) rarely fill up the bio.
“About Me” is something that you should take advantage of, and if you are unable to come up with something nice then hire a professional to get it done.
4. Stories
Social Media Stories are mobile, full-screen, vertical videos and images that appear outside of your regular feed and only last for 24 hours before they disappear. Stories focus on the storytelling aspect of social media. They allow you to use photo, video, text, emoticons, and tags to create both long-form and short-form content. They are typically: Uploaded from mobile devices.
Social Media Stories are the new social media newsfeed. In 2013, Snapchat introduced a new social media feed called “Stories”. And Instagram copied Snapchat Stories and introduced “Instagram Stories” in 2016.
Today, almost all the popular social networks has their own versions of “Stories”. Snapchat Stories. Instagram Stories. Facebook Stories. WhatsApp Status. YouTube Stories. LinkedIn Stories. Twitter Fleets. Pinterest Story Pins. Spotify Clips.
And now, Stories are now one of the most popular features of Snapchat, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
4.1. Instagram Story Highlight Cover
Instagram Story Highlight Covers are the tiny icons that are present below your Instagram profile bio.
You can choose any stories from your archive, select a cover for your highlight and give it a name. Once you’re done, your highlight will appear as a circle on your profile that plays as a stand-alone story when someone taps it. Highlights stay on your profile until you remove them, and you can have as many highlights as you’d like.
So this is a great tool to categorize and archive your stories, and when you give them custom highlight covers your brand stories will stand-out.
5. Video Intro / Outro
An intro can be a simple animation of your logo and tagline or it can be a teaser of who you are and what your brand is all about. Meanwhile, an outro is something that people notice when they watch any complete video. So it should ideally have your call-to-action.
6. Thumbnails
Needless to say, thumbnails are the reason why you and me click-on that video, right? Because it’s the first thing you notice on YouTube search results and on suggestions. So if you are looking for someone to design thumbnails then look no further.

It’s not a good idea to reveal the fact that you do not have even 100-500 followers or subscribers — even if your social media profile is new. So you can use Fiverr to “buy” those essential first followers and subscribers even though it doesn’t help in increasing page views or engagement in a significant way. Tip: Buy “Shoutouts” instead of fake bot followers and subscribers.
